Here comes that fabulous time of the year when friends and enemies get together, put on a Harlequin mask and celebrate the absurd in all its forms!

The Bouffons Festival will officially begin on March 31 at 4:00 p.m. (Paris time) and will conclude its joyous shambles on April 7 at the same time! During these fabulous escapades you can enjoy bonus XP gains and earn exclusive rewards by completing Jester’s Festival quests.

To participate, go to one of the pavilions set up just outside the cities of Ebonheart, Vulkhel Watch and Daggerfall and talk to one of the three jesters who look just like Jorunn the Skald-Kingto the Queen Ayren and at High King Emeric. If you’re having trouble finding your way around, you can also grab the Jester’s Festival starter quest for free from the Crown Store.

Once you have completed the introductory quest, you will be handsomely rewarded with the delicious Pie of Disorder memento that you will find when you open the Tools section of your Collections. For the duration of the event, each use of this tasty memento will give you a 100% XP bonus for two hours!

RECEIVE CRAZY REWARDS

There are several daily quests to complete during the Jester’s Festival event, and for each one your hard work will be rewarded with a Jester’s Festival Box. However, each day, accomplishing your first Jester’s Festival quest will instead entitle you to a Staggering Jester’s Festival Boxguaranteeing you even more breathtaking rewards.

All boxes are likely to contain the following items:

• Party pies
• Festive furniture
• Jester’s Festival cooking recipes

As part of this fascinating feast of pranks, we’re adding a brand new quest for your enjoyment, titled Gather the group. To acquire it, contact the mysterious Samuel Gorone, whom you will not fail to find in any pavilion of the festival. As a reward, you will receive an extra daily box!

TRUCULENT TREASURES TO TRADE FOR EVENT TICKETS

Of course, the Festival boxes aren’t the only surprises you can pick up during this exuberant experience. Three Event Tickets reward each day for completing the first quest of the Jester’s Festival. By participating in these festivities every day, you will be able to accumulate up to 24 Tickets by the end of the event. But be careful, you can only accumulate 12 Event Tickets at a time. Anything you win above this limit will be lost!

So remember to go to the Impresario, the famous event vendor, to exchange your Event Tickets for the following items:

EXTRAVAGANT ITEMS ARRIVING IN THE CROWN SHOP

During the Jester’s Festival, you can get your hands on some wacky new items in the in-game Crown Store, including the new Guar mount on a Cradewell staff and the adorable Chat’dwell pet! These items will be available on all servers starting April 4.
