Firstly, we have the kit’s state-of-the-art color-syncing LED lights strip, which, as said earlier, comes integrated with a total of 216 high-density RGBIC LED light beads that can accurately match the same colors that are displayed in the on-screen content on your TV screen in real time.

The kit’s LED lights strip is only 0.47 inches (12 mm) wide, so it won’t take up much space when installed on the back side of your TV, and features 60 high-density RGBIC LED light beads per every 3.28 ft. As mentioned earlier, the kit’s dual camera is powered by Govee Envisual technology, which works based on a zone-division capture method that allows it to very accurately detect pretty much any colors and tones that can be displayed on your TV screen, ultimately enabling for those colors to be perfectly matched by the kit’s color-syncing LED lights strip in real time.

SET-UP / INSTALLATION

In terms of setting up this smart color-syncing LED TV backlight kit, firstly you have to carefully stick the LED lights strip to the back side of TV screen, for which you’re also provided with a few mounting clips and cable management clips that are equipped with double-sided adhesive tape stickers, allowing you to securely install the LED lights strip cable.

The kit’s dual camera unit is meant to be installed at the top-side of your TV screen, for which it also comes equipped with a hinging weighted base on its back-side that acts as a counterbalance to ensure it stays safely in place at all times. As such, you won’t even have to worry about affixing it to your TV’s outer shell, as that’s not necessary.

Finally, both the kit’s color-syncing LED lights strip and its dual camera unit required to be plug into a smart control box, which you’ll also be sticking to the back-side of your TV-screen with some of the double-sided adhesive tape that’s provided in the package.

On a side note, know that none of the kit’s components are required to be connected to your TV in any way.

Then simply connect the smart control box’s dedicated power adapter to any wall outlet that’s close-by and you can start programming and calibrating the system’s different functionalities via the Govee Home App.

In order to do that, you’re required to stick six (x6) orange foam stickers to the six calibration points in your TV screen, which specifically include each of the 4 corners, plus the top-middle and bottom-middle points (as shown in the image below).
