Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Studio will host “Japan Studio ‘Fun’ Meeting 2019,” this year’s edition of its annual community event started in 2017, on November 16 from 17:00 to 20:00 JST at SSJ Shinagawa Building in Tokyo, the company announced.

Here is an outline of the event:

• Food buffet and free drinks (alcohol included for those ages 20 and up)
• Special souvenirs
• A live talk by developers from Japan Studio
• Game showdown and quiz tournament
• Toro and Ape Escape, which are celebrating their 20th anniversary, will appear alongside Astro from Astro Bot (Editor’s Note: This is referencing costumed characters)
• The event will be live streamed online

Attendance will cost 1,000 yen, but is limited to 150 persons. Sony will accept applications to attend from September 19 to October 20. If too many people apply, attendees will be chosen by lottery. To apply, fill out the participation form here.

It should be noted that, judging by the 2018 event, this is no more than a community gathering where fans can interact with Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Studio developers—not an event where announcements will be made.
