Instagram Paid Subscription Launches In The United States

Instagram is experimenting with a new business strategy in the United States. The firm has launched a new subscription-based service that would allow Americans subscribe to a select group of creators and influencers on its platform.

Fans will be able to pay a monthly subscription to access subscriber-only content from well-known influencers and artists, as the name implies. This also applies to the Exclusive Lives and Stories. These subscribers will also receive a purple badge next to their username, indicating their status to the author to whom they are subscribed. When it comes to cost, the tiers range from 0.99 to 99.99 US dollars each month. Instagram has stated that it will not charge creators any fees for these memberships until 2023.

Currently, ten creators are participating in the early test, which includes: @alanchikinchow, @sedona._, @alizakelly, @kelseylynncook, @elliottnorris, @jordanchiles, @jackjerry, @bunnymichael, @donalleniii, and @lonnieiiv.

If the testing in the United States goes well, the service might be made available globally.
