Honor had its first press conference in 2022 on January 10th, when it unveiled the Honor Magic V, its flagship foldable smartphone. This is the company’s first foldable smartphone, as well as the first foldable smartphone featuring Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor. In the camera department, the Honor Magic V features a vertical triple rear camera system that includes a 50MP main camera (1/1.5 inch super big), a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 50MP enhancement camera. The Honor Magic V has a 42MP front camera in the punch-hole for selfies and video calls .

In terms of hardware, the Honor Magic V is equipped with Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen1 CPU. The performance has greatly improved over the previous generation. The entire performance output is more steady and long-lasting thanks to OS Turbo X and GPU Turbo X technology.

A 4750 mAh high-capacity battery is built into the Honor Magic V for power. It has an asymmetric dual-battery design and can supports 66W wired fast charging. 

The Honor Magic V comes in three different color schemes: titanium silver, vivid black, and orange. In terms of price, the device offers two versions. The 12GB + 256GB variant costs $1,568 whilst the 12GB + 512GB version costs $1,725
