All You Need To Know About OPPO First Foldable Phone, The Oppo Find N

Oppo has released its first foldable phone, the Oppo Find N, and some of its design features set it apart in a competitive marketplace.

The Find N is smaller than it’s competitors in the market, with a 5.49″ outer screen and a 7.1″ inner screen. Oppo also stuck to satisfactory aspect ratios, with the outer screen at 18:9 and the inner screen at 8.4:9.

The new Flexion Hinge, according to Oppo, is a complicated clockwork piece with 136 parts that fulfills two major tasks. The display is first folded in a teardrop shape at the fold, which reduces the crease by 80%. Second, when the device is folded, it erases the wedge-shaped gap between the two halves.

Specifications of The Oppo Find N

The Oppo Find N has a 120 Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of 1,000 Hz on its LTPO AMOLED display. Both the inner and outer displays can reach 1,000 nits of peak brightness when it comes to color rendering and brightness.

The outer display is a 5.49-inch Gorilla Glass Victus-protected AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1,972 x 988 pixels (402 PPI) and a refresh rate of 60hz. The inner 7.1″ display is 1,792 x 1,920 pixels (370 PPI) with a 120 Hz refresh rate.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 processor powers the Oppo Find N. The total storage is 512 GB, with 12 GB of RAM. The phone has 5 cameras in altogether, 3 on the rear and two at front, and you can take selfies with the primary cameras since it is foldable.

The wide camera uses a Sony IMX766 sensor with a resolution of 50 MP. There’s also a 16 MP ultra-wide camera and a 13 MP telephoto camera. The phone is powered by a 4,500mAh battery that supports both wired and wireless charging – 33W SuperVOOC and 15W AirVOOC, respectively.

Availability

The Oppo Find N will be available in China starting on December 23rd. The 8GB/256GB model costs $1,200, while the 12GB/512GB model costs $1,410, or €1240. Unfortunately, Oppo has no intention of releasing the Find N outside of China.
