Liquid-damaged 2020 M1 Macbook Air. This Mac was not taking any charge, with an ammeter inline we can see it’s taking just 5 volts and 0 amp draw. This indicates a short to ground. This Mac had suffered a spill bottom left of the screen very close to the USB-C charge ports.
On inspection, the short was found and removed, power was restored with a wire running from another part of the same circuit
And we have 20 volts and now taking in Amps. Again, another Macbook saved at a fraction of the cost of Apple.
