Follow these steps to copy and paste in plain text:-

• Copy the text and paste plain text only without using any format in Word program.

• Then go to File > Options.
• Next, click on the “Advanced” tab.
• Then scroll down a bit to get cut, copy, and paste option.
• You will be provided with four different options:-

1. Pasting within the same document
2. Pasting between documents
3. Pasting between documents when style definition conflict
4. Pasting from other programs

• All of them come with three options, which are as follows:-

1. Keep Source Formatting (Default)
2. Merge Formatting
3. Keep Text Only

• If you are trying to remove any formatting by default, then you need to set the third option, which is Keep Text Only.
• Now, the process is complete.
