The storyline in Hogwarts Legacy is set in the 1800s, and as a player, you will be in the shoes of a student who has the key to a very valuable ancient secret. That secret has the potential to tear the wizardry world apart.

There are four possible ways to tackle the floating candle map
You will get the floating candle map in four different ways depending on which one of the Hogwarts houses you select. If you’re a Gryffindor, on the other hand, you need to speak to Sir Patrick Delaney-Poddmore in The Hunt for the Missing Pages. You’ll find the map in the crypt that appears next to the ghost.
Let’s suppose you’re a Ravenclaw in the game. In this case, you will find the map in the Owlery during the Last Heirloom quest of the Ollivander.
Let’s also take into account the scenario in which you’re an Slytherins. In this case, you need to go to the cave under Hogwarts during the Scrope’s Hope quest. When you arrive, you have to put an offering on the stand and a hidden piece of the cave will open, allowing you to find the map.
Solving the floating candles map isn’t difficult
You need to go to the Forbidden Forrest at night to solve the floating candles map in Hogwarts Legacy. You have to head over to the Forbidden Forest Floo network location. You’ll see a wooden bridge; you need to turn left and go to the stone bridge. At this point, you have to ignite your wand with Lumos, and candles will appear. As long as you follow the candles through the Forbidden Forrest with Lumos, the Ghost of our Love quest will be solved. Not difficult at all, right?
If you’ve never played Hogwarts Legacy before, you need to know that the game is available on multiple platforms.
