Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (Bionic Beaver) with new features

As you know Ubuntu is most popular Linux distribution initial release from 20 October 2004. After 2004, the Canonical Ltd released 27 versions of Ubuntu and now the latest version of Ubuntu. The Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (Bionic Beaver) is the first release of 2018. It is expected that like every year the Canonical Ltd could release another release in this October. Well, now we’re talking about the latest release Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (Bionic Beaver) here.

What are the new features in this version?

First, a new To-Do app preinstalled in the default installation, attractive colorful emoji has added for messaging and communication reaction. In the option of a “Minimal Install” of its installer only installs a web browser and system tools. What we like in this release as compared to the previous version is its’s boot time is faster. You can also find few new wallpapers if you are getting bored with old wallpapers from the previous version. As we can see, there are no major changes in this version from the front end but only main fixes in the kernel. It is expected that the next release could come with major changes that also includes themes and much more. This latest version will be supported for 5 years until April 2023 while the previous version of Ubuntu 17.10 (Artful Aardvark) will be supported by Canonical Ltd until July 2018 due to few bugs.
