HP’s Z4 workstation is now available with both Xeon-W and Core-X based processors
Recently, HP released an update to its HP Z4 Workstation that will support Intel Core X and Xeon processors. These processors are designed for the new generation technology. The new HP Z4 workstation PC’s Xeon W series is equipped with Xeon W-2123 4-cores 8-threads to Xeon W-2195 18-core 36-thread while core X series is equipped with Core i7-7800X 6-cores 12-threads to core i9-7980XE 18-core 36-thread with clock speeds range from 2.6GHz to 4.4GHz Turbo Boost Max technology. It also comes with up to two extreme graphics GPUs, including AMD Radeon Pro WX 9100 or Nvidia Quaddro P5000, both of which come with 16GB of memory. The W series offers a bit more security and lifecycle management with vPro enablement, while the X-series is more affordable and offers higher clock speeds in many SKUs. So overall we’d like to say-there is no any exact idea about its better performance statement and price could be fluctuate in different location.
