The second Huawei brand, has introduced its new mid-range model, the little brother of Honor 9. The Asian company is a leader in ecommerce sales in China and now intends to eat the European market with mobiles designed for young people betting on the photography of selfies, infinite screens and very low prices.
During the presentation, Javier Palacios, General Director of Honor, has highlighted, photography, screens and Artificial Intelligence as the three keys that will mark the smartphone market from now on. Although this new release does not include innovations in AI as if they do other devices of the brand as the Honor View 10 .
The highlights of this new release are the four cameras, two rear and two front . Both pairs of cameras combine a 13-megapixel and a 2-megapixel camera. The company knows that its main target is young people and they try to attract them not only with improvements in hardware but also in photographic software. The Honor 9 Lite includes novelties in selfies such as beauty mode that distinguishes according to gender, bokeh effect, panoramic selfie, control of the shot by gestures or to choose the focus after having made the photo.
The design has been very careful, as has been usual in the latest models presented by Honor. Here highlights the “infinite screen”, ie 5.65 inches of FullHD + that only has frames at the top and bottom. To have a wider use of this screen designers have included the option to remove the navigation bar. On the back is the ultra-fast fingerprint sensor that will remain in the background when in the next updates users have facial recognition . The colors in which they are available are the classic white and black, the blue that has already become the hallmark of the brand and a new addition, a bright silver color.
Its interior has a Kirin 659 processor and 3 GB of RAM . As for storage you can choose between 32 or 64 GB and a battery of 3,000 mAh.
The price, as we have already specified before, is very competitive, for only 229 euros (32 GB). The Honor 9 Lite is available today in the usual Honor channels and in others like Amazon and PcComponents. The novelty is that in March it will reach operators like Yoigo .
