Unocoin has announced the launch of a multi-currency crypto-exchange based on its bitcoin applications for iOS and Android. Soon, Bitcoin Cash, Ripple, Ethereum, Litecoin and Stellar will be available on the site, the project’s website says  .

Users will be able to buy and sell crypto-currencies, as well as make deposits and withdraw funds using an account on the exchange. The platform works according to the market-making model and uses stop-limit orders. In addition, the commission is 0.4% of the transaction amount. The message also notes that in the future the exchange will support new coins.

Note, speaking in the Parliament of India during the presentation of the country’s budget for 2018-2019, Indian Finance Minister Arun Jaytli took an even tougher stance  on bitcoins on the eve  .

It should be noted that the country’s fiscal authorities over the last two months have been thoroughly investigating the activities of crypto-exchange exchanges and wealthy bitcoin entrepreneurs, seeking proof of tax evasion or financing of crimes.

At the same time, Indian banks began to delay the transactions of crypto-exchange exchanges, negatively affecting the operation of platforms. Representatives of the industry suggested that the central bank secretly exerts pressure on financial institutions.

Recall, mobile applications Unocoin for iOS and Android were launched in October 2016. In September of last year, the bitcoin-purse team Blockchain.info also announced a strategic partnership with Unocoin. In addition, on Friday, January 12, bitcoin-wallet  added support  for the Segregated Witness protocol and provided users with new bitcoins-addresses.
