Ford has unveiled a new special edition version of the F-150 Lightning electric truck, called the F-150 Lightning Platinum Black. The Platinum Black builds on the Platinum trim level with a unique matte black wrap.
In addition to the matte black exterior, it also rides on 22-inch matte black wheels, the Ford Oval and Lightning badges are now black, the rear light bar has a smoked look, there are power-deployable running boards with an Agate Black gloss accent and a black tonneau cover. It also gets an Agate Black gloss roof with “Lightning” graphics.
Inside the seats are wrapped in black Nirvana leather. Lastly there’s an aluminum plate in the frunk and in the driver door jamb with limited edition numbering.

It comes standard with the extended-range battery, which means that it has a targeted EPA-estimated range of 300 miles. Ford only plans to build 2,000 units with the first deliveries beginning in early 2024.
