The refreshed 2021 Honda Odyssey just went on sale a few months ago, but Honda has announced that the 2022 Odyssey is already available at dealerships. The reason will probably surprise you.

The Odyssey has been available with the “HondaVac” which is a mini vacuum that’s great for cleaning up small messes on the go. Unfortunately due to supplier issues, Honda has been forced to drop this feature on the Odyssey, which meant that the 2022 Odyssey has to be released early.

A Honda spokesperson recently told The Drive, “We pulled forward the introduction of the model year 2022 Odyssey primarily due to the discontinuation of the HondaVac feature in the Odyssey Elite at the conclusion of the 2021 model year based on a supplier issue.”
