Amazon packages can now be delivered to your GM or Volvo

Amazon has announced the new “Amazon Key” app that lets GM and Volvo drivers have their Amazon packages delivered directly to their vehicles. Simply by using the Amazon Key app, drivers of select Volvo, Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles can have their packages delivered to their car, at no extra cost.

With Amazon Key In-Car Delivery, packages can be delivered to a vehicle when it’s parked an accessible spot, such as on the street, in front of an apartment building, or even a workplace parking lot. On the day of delivery, customers simply park within range of their delivery address and a delivery driver will deliver the package during the scheduled time window. Customers will be notified when the delivery is completed and the car is locked.

“With Amazon Key In-Car, we’re fuelling another convenient and secure way to get packages to our customers—and we know our customers are going to love it,” stated Peter Larsen, Vice President of Delivery Technology, Amazon.
