How to Digest better

Sometimes we find it hard for the foods we consume to be digested. Taking this into consideration we prepared this post to bring you the remedy for each type of digestion problem.

There is a plant remedy for each type of digestion problem. So, lets take a glimpse at each plant and its use;
  • Aigremoine: This plant is useful when the stomach problem is accompanied by enteritis, diarrhea and/or chronic liver infection. Aigremoine helps tone a lazy digestive system. And it also helps regularize acidity and soothe ulcers by improving metabolism. Take three or four cups a day. Three and a half to four table spoons per quart of water.
  • Angelica: Angelica plant is a digestive, an aperitif, a stimulant, a tonic. It decongests and soothes stomach pains and swelling. All you have to do is to prepare an infusion (tea) preferably using the fresh plant: Three and a half table spoons of roots per quart of water. If your stomach is very swollen, prepare and drink three cups per day made of five table spoons of seeds per quart of water.
  • Anise: The Anise plant is a soothing digestive. It aids digestion and the elimination of intestinal gas, it soothes stomach cramps, aerophagy, dyspepsia (contractions of the digestive organs, dizziness and a heavy feeling after eating). Two or three cups per day, after meals: Two table spoons of seeds per quart of water.
  • Camomile: This is a digestive, sedative, anti-inflammation agent and tonic. Camomile helps painful or difficult digestion, stomach cramps, gastro-intestinal spasms, loss of appetite, and it helps expulsion of gas.
