Setting up Google Analytics
If you have Google Analytics set up on your website, great! You can start using SwitchboardFREE Google Analytics straight away. To do so follow these 4 simple steps:
- Log in to your SwitchboardFREE account
- Select a SwitchboardFREE number that you would like to track with Google Analytics
- Go down to Google Analytics and click “Detect” and enter your website
- Fill in a category and click save!
If you do not have Google Analytics, not to worry, it’s easy to set up!
- Head over to the Google Analytics website and sign in or set up a Google account
- Once signed in click the “Sign up” button
- Fill in the details required and click Get Tracking ID and accept the T&C’s. You now have your Tracking ID!
- Copy your Tracking ID and head over to SwitchboardFREE
- Log in to your SwitchboardFREE account
- Select a SwitchboardFREE number that you would like to track with Google Analytics
- Go down to Google Analytics and paste in your Tracking ID
- Fill in a category and click save!
