Tesla recently launched a battery backup to charge your smartphone. Well the powerbank is shaped like the Tesla's supercharger monument outside it's california headquater's. It's no surprise from a company like Tesla being a automotive electronics company to launch a power-bank. Well the battery used in this power-bank is the same one that  powers tesla cars and the company says the battery pack uses a single 18650cell- which is standard lithium-ion cell used in every Tesla car made before the Tesla Model 3, when they decided to switch to a custom more efficient cell, Of course Tesla car's have thousands of these cells, while the mobile battery pack has only one.

In terms of the capacity, the battery pack has 3350mAh capacity, which can charge only most phones at once and it's output is 5V/1.5A. And price, it costs $45, which is actually a  lot less than we expect Tesla to sell a battery pack for. You can buy the one of same capacity for much lower price but it won't have fun like the fun using the Tesla. This powerbank may be best presentor gift for a Tesla fan and if you want a great battery backup ,just stick to a less expensive and great performing battery packs from brands like Anker, pebble and more.
