DJI Announces Mini 4 Pro, Its Most Advanced Sub-250g Drone

DJI has announced the Mini 4 Pro, its most advanced sub-250g Drone to date. It features a number of improvements over the previous DJI Mini 3 Pro, including a new 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor with dual native ISO, a wider angle lens, and omnidirectional obstacle detection.

The Mini 4 Pro’s new sensor is capable of shooting 4K/60fps video and 48MP photos. It also features a wider field of view than the previous Mini 3 Pro, at 83 degrees.

The new drone is also the first DJI Mini drone to feature omnidirectional obstacle detection. This means that the drone can detect and avoid obstacles in all directions, making it safer to fly in complex environments.

In addition to its new hardware, the Mini 4 Pro also features a number of new software features, including:

  • Waypoints: This feature allows you to create and fly pre-programmed flight paths.
  • Cruise Control: This feature allows you to set a constant speed and direction for the drone, making it easier to fly long distances or track moving subjects.
  • True Vertical Shooting: This feature allows you to shoot vertical videos in a single tap, making it ideal for sharing on social media.

The drone also features an improved transmission system with a range of up to 20 kilometers. This means that you can fly further away from your controller without losing signal.

The DJI Mini 4 Pro is available now starting at $799 for the drone and controller.
