Xiaomi prepping a new mid-range smartphone with two rear cameras. The phone is now listed on the TENAA, which is supposed to be the Redmi 8. Right now, the Chinese agency had not revealed the main settings of the device, but the key technical specifications have been listed.
The device, whose model number is M1909C3IC, would arrive in multiple RAM and Storage versions – 2GB, 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB of internal storage.
The possible Redmi 8 would also come with a 6.2-inch screen with HD+ resolution and waterdrop-shaped notch, which would house an 8MP front camera. At the rear, we can see the two camera sensors of 12MP + 8MP.
It’s not mentioned which processor the phone will be powered with, but the listing indicates the presence of an octa-core processor. To top it off, the device would have a big 5,000 mAh battery – the largest capacity of any device on the Redmi line.
Even getting the registration with China’s regulatory body, Xiaomi has not yet commented on the name and future release of this model. So we can’t say for sure that it is the Redmi 8, but let’s hope for the best.
