Samsung began shipping the June Android security package for the Galaxy A8 Plus and Tab S4. As reported by SamMobile, the update is being distributed through OTA in only in Canada and the United States for Tab S4 owners. The Galaxy A8+ receives security patches in Brazil, Colombia, and Panama. We can expect a wider rollout in the coming days.

According to the changelog made available by Samsung, the June security package fixes eight critical and more than a dozen high-risk Android vulnerabilities. In addition, the update also deals with a series of vulnerabilities found in the software of the South Korean tech giant.
The Samsung Galaxy A8+ was released in January 2018 running Android 7.1.1 Nougat and in March this year, it received the latest Android 9.0 Pie update.
