Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi will Launch a new set of products at its upcoming event in Shenzhen, China on May 31st. Some of the big announcements might include the launch of Mi 7, as well as and the Mi 8th Anniversary Edition smartphone.
Some reports also suggest that next-generation fitness band, the Mi Band 3 will also be unveiled at the event. The launch of Mi Max 3, however, has been postponed to July which was speculated to be unveiled at the upcoming event.
The report comes from Chinese microblogging platform Weibo where Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun said in a reply to the Mi Max 3 launch question that the smartphone expected to be released in July this year.
Specifications of Xiaomi Mi Max 3
Right now there are no official reports regarding the specifications of Xiaomi Mi Max 3, but some speculations buzzing around indicates that the handset will feature a 6.99-inch Full HD+ display and will be powered by Qualcomm‘s Snapdragon 636.
There said to be two models based on RAM, storage and Chipset. One variant will come with Qualcomm‘s Snapdragon 636 coupled with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage while the higher variant will be equipped with a Snapdragon 660 processor, 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
A 5,500mAh battery will be there enabled with Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging technology. The Mi Max 3 will sport a Sony IMX363 or S5K217+S5K5E8 Samsung sensors and it’s most likely to be a dual camera at the rear.
On the front, we might see a 6K4H7 Samsung sensor and OmniVision OV2281 iris scanner. It will be running Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box. Keeping these aside, we must wait for the official launch of the Mi Max 3 to see what it actually packs.
