Coca Cola Celebrates the Spirit of Abdul Sattar Edhi with Its New TVC

Lab Pe Aati Hai Dua is a poem from 1902 written by Allama Iqbal. Translated, it means "On my lips comes a prayer." It is recited in almost every Pakistani school to this day, still very popular.

It is a prayer to God, looking for qualities of compassion and kindness, as well as the ability to serve mankind. All Iqbal poems contain a positive lesson and he often wrote poems that stimulated the building of characters in children. This specific poem was one of them.

This as a song for the TV commercial to have chosen, therefore, was a perfect match for Coca-Cola's Ramadan campaign – Eidi for Edhi. The poems-lyric "May the poor support, be my life, may the suffering of suffering be my way" was undoubtedly his way. The unselfish Edhi sb devoted his entire life to helping the underprivileged. Edhi Foundation performs an unmatched spectrum of social services, including orphanages, mobile dispensaries, hospitals, diabetic centers, homes for the homeless, handicapped and elderly people rejected by their families

Also, because according to Pakistani law a father's name is required for all official papers, Edhi was mentioned as father and guardian for tens of thousands of people. Edhi also won a case for orphans to receive national identity cards. His foundation houses more than 50,000 orphans in their orphanages.

The last known spoken words of Edhi sb: "Caring for the poor of my country" showed his unselfish and tireless care for the needy in Pakistan. One of the lines of Iqbal's poem reads: "May my homeland by me achieve elegance." We as Pakistani can certainly associate this with the late great Edhi sb because he was the epitome of elegance. He was in fact the national treasure of Pakistan; a symbol of kindness, hope, equality and benevolence.

It is extremely important that we go back to the basics of this poem / prayer, which is great in evoking all the emotions that you might experience in the spirit of Ramazan, such as the commonly shared values of generosity, sharing and togetherness. . It is also vital that each of us remember the part we need to play so that we become people with the characteristics that we have always wanted.

Coca-Cola & # 39; s Ramazan campaign #Eidi for Edhi wants to help you achieve that. After a similar campaign in 2017, Coca-Cola is working with Edhi Foundation for a fundraising campaign and promises to double all donations received during the campaign. This year, Coca-Cola invites you to go beyond cash donations, and encourages you to contribute to meaningful gifts that the Foundation can distribute to less privileged people, creating joy in their lives by the time Eid ul Fitr arrives.

Help to continue the mission of Edhi and contribute generously to it. You can donate by:

  1. Use the Coca-Cola & # 39; s #BottleOfChange or collect #EidiforEidi in terms of gifts and drop them at the nearest Edhi Center or at one of the 75,000 Telenor easy paisa shops
