Joining the battle of companies such as Logitech and Razer offering advanced mouse mats is Asus, which comes out with its ROG Balteus at Computex 2018.

The new mouse pad brings a few new things into the mix, but by far the most important is the new wireless charging surface. In the upper right corner of the mouse pad, every phone that supports the popular Qi standard is loaded, which should add value.

Like other ROG products, the ROG Balteus will be delivered with support for customizable backlighting on the logo on the surface, with the Aura Sync technology of the company, so you can better synchronize it with the backlight of your other ROG branded devices.

Asus also leaves the more traditional landscape mode currently used by most mouse mats, in favor of a portrait orientation, which according to Asus would remove the need to continually back and forth the path

For people who do not want the more high-end offer, Asus will also release a version of the mousepad that comes without wireless charging but retains the RGB. On the top right a cord is attached that can serve as a socket for the Balteus.

Prices and availability details of the mouse pad are not yet known, but for reference, the Logitech G PowerPlay is available for $ 99, which is the range we expect this product to launch. Also expect a few bundles of the product to be released with the Balteus in combination with a beautiful eye-catching mouse.
