Caretaker Federal Minister for Education and Vocational Training Muhammad Yusuf Shaikh received the additional guidance from the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications.

Justice (Retd) Nasir-ul-Mulk Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan had included Mohammed Yusuf Shaikh in the cabinet and sworn in as a carer Federal Minister for Education and Vocational Training.

According to a notification,

The Prime Minister, in terms of Rule 3 (4) of the Business Regulations 1973, has gladly granted the additional portfolios to the Federal Minister with immediate effect.

According to the notification, Shaikh has been awarded five extra portfolios

These include,

• Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination,
• Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interreligious Harmony,
• Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication,
• Ministry of Science and Technology and (v) Ministry of Climate Change.
