Computex 2018: Asus unveils ZenBook and VivoBook notebooks

Asus has unveiled a new range of notebooks under the ZenBook and VivoBook series at Computex 2018 in Taipei. The new lineup includes ZenBook Pro 14, ZenBook Pro 15, VivoBook S15, VivoBook S14, VivoBook S13, VivoBook Flip 14, Zen AiO 27, VivoWatch BP, and more. The company also launched the Asus RT-AX88U dual-band router and the ProArt PA490 mini PC. Let's take a look at these products from below

Asus ZenBook Pro 14 and ZenBook Pro 15

The ZenBook Pro 14 comes with a 14-inch NanoEdge FHD display and is powered by the 8th Intel Core i7 processor with 16GB RAM and GeForce GTX 1050 Max Graphics Q.This device features an infrared camera for facial recognition, Amazon Amazon integrated support, Intel Optane memory, Bluetooth 5.0 and a port USB type C

both laptops are running Windows 10 and have the Scr eenPad, which is on the keyboard as a touchpad. The screen has adaptive features with context-sensitive tools and supports applications such as YouTube, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Excel among others. Asus VivoBook S15 and VivoBook 14

These VivoBook notebooks run Windows 10 and are available in five color options such as Star Gray, Gun Metal, Green Firmament, Icicle Gold and Silver Blue. The VivoBook S15 has a screen / body ratio of 86%, a SSD of 512 GB and a hard disk of 2 TB and weighs 1.8 kg. The VivoBook S14 has a screen / body ratio of 84% and weighs 1.4 kg. The VivoBook Flip 14 features a 360-degree touchscreen with 82% body-to-body display for use in mode tablet, tent, stand and laptop. This unit is equipped with an 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor coupled with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD. There is a fingerprint sensor mounted on touchpad and an active Pen Asus Pen. Zen AiO 27

The Zen AiO 27 is an all-in-one PC with a UHD display 4K 27 inches. It uses an 8th generation Core i7 processor coupled with 32GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 GPU. There is integrated Asus Calibration technology for color accuracy, screen brightness and color consistency. . The device comes with a stand with height, swivel and tilt settings and a wireless charger Qi.

VivoWatch BP

The company also unveiled the VivoWatch BP, a portable device to monitor blood pressure. It incorporates PPG and ECG sensors to provide real-time blood pressure measurements in just 15 seconds. The device has Asus HealthAI technology to offer health statistics such as sleep quality, index of de-stress, heart rate and activity data. It is assumed to be 50% lighter and 70% smaller than the current generation of portable blood pressure monitors on the market. Notably, this laptop is said to render 28 days of battery life.
