Last night a religiously charged crowd attacked an Ahmaddiya prayer room in the city of Sialkot
Peaceful, tolerant and followers of the religion of peace and religious freedom have just destroyed the religious place of Ahmadis in Sialkot. This is a standard practice where a gang attacks the minority and gets away with it. # Ahmadi #Sialkot

It happened in the late hours of the night and the crowd was led by Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) candidate Hafiz Hamid Raza.
Mob vandalized # Ahmadi Mosque Baitul Mubarik, a historical building, house of Mir Hassamuddin in #Sialkot.

What is even more intriguing is the incident that takes place in the month of Ramazan; a month in which Muslims are advised to be more patient and to accept the sanctity of the month. But these Muslims choose to be saviors of a religion that does not need salvation.
And Islam has been saved again. This time in #Sialkot more than 500 "Muslims" come together to search a #AHMADI MOSQUE and attack houses. Best country of pure, how much more! #EndAhmadiApartment pic.twitter.com/AqtgrxJFUj

The prayer room dates from the 1860s
#Sialkot. Hearts from Ahmadi & # 39; s bleeding all over the world! Their historic building, which has existed for a century, was demolished last night by orchestrated gang. Before and after photo & # 39; s … pic.twitter.com/M8mo2TeosA

A video appeared online where we can see how Hafiz Hamid Raza speaks how proud he is of the act
He thanks members of extremist organizations to help them demolish the prayer room. According to him, people with different belief systems can not have minarets at their places of worship.

Should we consider this instigating speech as a confessional statement of Hafiz Hamid Raza (candidate candidate for #AJK Polls 2016, LA-32 Jammu)? #Sialkot #AhmadiApartment pic.twitter.com/vtVKmudhMz– افشاں مصعب (@AfshanMasab) May 24, 2018
Pakistan Sunni Tehreek has tweeted a sorry reason for the action. It is the classic excuse used by angry crowds in Pakistan
It is a pity that people only feel the need to take "corrective action" when they want to justify extremist actions.
#Sialkot
Qadiyani violates PPC 298-B by & # 39; Masjid & # 39; to use and to use Islamic symbols. Insensitivity of LEAs enables people to take the law into their own hands.

But what is even more problematic is the silence of the media and government agencies
Many called to Twitter to call the relevant authorities, but nothing was done
Maybe I'm wrong, but in reality when the elections are approaching, little politician gives the religious perpetrators deliberate space. Please do not play with the fire, it will eventually flood you all. #Sialkot #Ahmadiyya #Mosque @GovtOfPunjab pic.twitter.com/ZhTdCNtUMI

Reports of a mob attack on the Ahmadiyya Mosque in #Sialkot as we speak. Buildings of historical importance destroyed and innocent lives in Danger @GovtOfPunjab
Immediate action required. @mohrpakistan– Naveed (@ cre8ivegraphix) May 23, 2018
Officials from the Tehsil #Sialkot government in collaboration with mullahs and miscreants attacked a historic #Mosque. The motive is clear to demolish the historic site. Because the mosque has been part of #Ahmadiyya Community for 135 years. #SialkotMosqueAttack #AhmadiyyaPersecution pic.twitter.com/b7vVs8HaGW

Normal publications shy away from reporting the incident while being picked up by international media
Who is to blame for this deafening silence?
A minority, who is already being persecuted and living in fear of their lives, is being set time and time again. Who should protect them from these common people who abuse religious sentiments to wreak havoc in the lives of peaceful individuals? Why is everyone quiet and when will we possess how to abuse the minorities of this country?
It is a great day that can happen with a people's representation # FATAMerger, but you feel very sad about what happened in #Sialkot.

Here are some Pakistanis with thoughts that may prompt you to realize how insecure society is for people with different belief systems
We must love our religion and respect the other religion. Nobody has the right to demolish someone's place of worship – Mob destroyed Ahmadi Mosque Baitul Mubarik & historic building, house of Mir Hassamuddin, in #Sialkot.

The fact that much of the port of Pakistan this level of hatred against Ahmadi's is so sad. Imagine that you have that kind of toxicity in you .. #masjidmubarak #Sialkot

How many of you know that #ahmedis can go to jail because they only say "Assalam o alaikum"?
If any of you think they are safe in Pakistan, stop living in delusion # Sialkot #SialkotMosqueAttack– Faran Mahboob (@ FaranMahboob1) May 24, 2018
Let's play our part and not push it under the carpet? People in this country must be held responsible for their actions!
