Xiaomi is one of the exhibitors next month at MWC 2018 in Barcelona. From past few weeks, there have been many reports claiming that Xiaomi will be launching its next flagship smartphone Mi 7 at MWC. But now according to the latest report, the Chinese company will not launch Mi 7 next month.
According to iGyaan, a high-ranking company employee has stated in anonymity that there will be no major announcements involved. This clearly means that Xiaomi will not be launching a flagship smartphone at MWC 2018. Along with the Mi 7 Xiaomi was also expected to launch its Surge S2 processor and the Mi 6X smartphone.

So we can expect Xiaomi to launch the Mi 6X smartphone at the event which will be powered by the Surge S2 processor. We already know that LG and HTC will be skipping the MWC 2018 flagship smartphone launch due to the hype around the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 plus Smartphones.
Mi 7 Specifications
Mi 7 will sport a 6.01-inch OLED display, which will be made by Samsung, meaning the quality here would be top notch. It is a big upgrade in terms of resolution and screen size from its predecessor Mi 6. The smartphone will be powered by the recently launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Processor.
The smartphone will have dual rear-facing cameras with 16-megapixel resolution with 1.7 aperture. The two sensors will help in getting DSLR like bokeh and 2 times optical zoom. Xiaomi might also launch a facial recognition system just like the Apple’s face id.The smartphone will come with 6GB of RAM and will house a 3350mAh battery.
