OPPO is all set to launch another 18:9 aspect ratio display Smartphone in India after the Oppo F5 series, called the OPPO A83. The OPPO A83 was launched in China last month and will now be available in India at a price of ₹13,990. The smartphone will go on sale starting 20th January 2018.

OPPO A83 is powered by a 2.5GHz MediaTek Helio P23 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage expandable via MicroSD up to 128GB. It sports a 5.7-inch IPS HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display and comes with a metal unibody design. The dual-SIM VoLTE smartphone houses a 3,180mAh battery.

There is no fingerprint scanner on the smartphone and the company is going for Face Unlock feature instead. So it will use facial recognition to unlock your smartphone. It comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies and video calling.
