Asus promised that their entire Zenfone 4 Series – Zenfone 4 Pro, Zenfone 4 Selfie, Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro, etc will get the Android Oreo update in the second half of 2018. Now the company has announced that it has started rolling out Android Oreo 8.0 update for the Zenfone 4.

The over the air update is now available for the Zenfone 4 (ZE554KL) model. As any other over the air software update, the update will be rolled out in phases and it will take around a week to reach all the users. You can manually check for the update by going to Settings, About and then System update.

The software version is V15.0405.1711.76 and will include all the core Android Oreo features like picture in picture mode, Instant apps etc. Along with this, the update brings a new launcher that comes with the swipe up gesture to show all apps. It brings new icons and a re-defined user-friendly UI.
