Samsung Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+ Leaked – Rear Fingerprint Scanner, Dual Cameras, Less Bezels

Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 plus are the most awaited smartphones of the year 2018 and as we are coming close to the launch of these two awesome smartphones, leaks and rumors are not stopping. The latest one comes in a 360-degree view of the upcoming smartphones.

Popular tipster @OnLeaks has shared these render which shows that the Fingerprint Scanner has been moved from the side of the rear camera to below the rear camera, which has been requested by many consumers. But it conflicts with the earlier reports in which Synaptics announced In-display fingerprint scanner for top 5 OEMs.

It was believed that Samsung will be using this new in-display fingerprint scanner in the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. The S9 will have a single rear camera whereas the S9+ plus will be having a dual camera setup like we have seen with the Galaxy Note 8 but here also the fingerprint scanner will be placed below the dual camera setup.

Moving to the front, top and bottom chin is slightly thinner than the Galaxy S8 but there no big changes up front. There will not be much difference between the Galaxy S9 and S9+ except the dual cameras and a slightly larger display. Both the smartphones will be running on the recently launched Snapdragon 845 processor and Samsung’s own Exynos 9810.
