Airtel has finally slashed the price of its 4G Hotspot portable device to ₹999. The device was earlier priced around ₹1,499. The device is available at the new price across all Airtel retails stores in the country. Airtel also mentioned that the new price will be updated on Amazon soon.

Airtel 4G hotspot device allows you create a WiFi hotspot from anywhere and for any device. The device requires an Airtel SIM to provide you with the internet and you will have to make regular recharges just like you do on your smartphones.

There are some great plans available, you can check them out at the Airtel’s website. We think Airtel did this a bit late as its biggest competitor Reliance Jio had slashed the price of its hotspot dongle to ₹999 almost 3 months back. So what do you prefer? Jio or Airtel?
