It uses a simplified version Markdown, a lightweight markup language that uses plain text formatting syntax. Don't worry as you don't need to use the markup language because I will show you one easy method to bold texts in Discord.
How to Bold in Discord?
Follow the instruction given below in order to bold a text on Discord:-In order to bold a particular part word or sentence, you have to write it between two pairs of asterisks and press Enter.
For example: Type This is **bold text** example. and press Enter.
This will be seen as This is bold text example. Here you can see that after pressing Enter the asterisks will go away and the text which was placed between the two pairs of asterisks becomes bold. So this was one simple way to bold texts in Discord.
Same way if you want to make your text Italic, put text between single pair of asterisk, like this *Italic*.
Same way if you want to make your text both Bold as well as Italic, then put the text between three pairs of asterisk, like this ***Bold as well as Italic ***.
