2nd Niger Bridge: This Is How It Look Like When It Finished - 3D Images And Video

The 2nd Niger Bridge has been a topic of discussion among the Eastern Zone. While they cited that the federal government has abandoned the project since it was commissioned by the former Pres. Goodluck Jonathan, the federal government has repeatedly stated that the project was not abandoned and that work is on-going at the site.

Last week, the vice president, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo was at the site of the construction where he and the minister of works Mr. Babatunde Fashola both inspected the level of work done on this project. Even though we can testify that the level of work on the bridge was extremely slow, sluggish and nothing to write about for the past four years. The work is being handled by Nigeria's favorite giant, Julius Berger Nigeria PLC.

Not many knew that the 2nd Niger Bridge has a 3D animation which serves as a plan. AutoReportNG got to meet a guru who has done a series of 3D design for government, agencies and private organization, The Goblen Studio which is based in Serbia.

According to the little information that we got, this is the 3D Rendering of the 2nd Niger Bridge at Onitsha, Nigeria.

The route of the recommended plan is 2150m in length including a 600m bridge according to China Communications Construction Company Ltd [CCCC].

A closer look at the images and video shows that the design was done in 2012/2013 of which was submitted to the Federal Government for approval.

We got an exclusive 3D images and video from the designer but we can't verify if Julius Berger is using this as a model to build the bridge.
