You wanted me to write about the best Electric bikes on Amazon not in the Amazon? Okay, I can do that too because, much like the rain forest and river after which I think it is probably named, there is an astounding number of e-bikes to be found on Amazon. All shapes, sizes and price ranges are available.

However, if you are new to e-bikes and you are just dipping your toes into the river, you will get an overwhelmingly large number of possible bikes. It can leave a person stunned, not knowing where to start. My mission today, is to help you cut through all of the underbrush of the e-bike world and get to the best sellers.

Alright, enough pontificating! Grab your jungle gear, we’re going to see the top ten best sellers on Amazon.com now!

Generally Amazon doesn’t like to give out their top selling products because they do not like to alienate any of their promoted sellers or independent suppliers. Yet after much time on the phone with one of their lovely customer service reps, I was able to come up with this list, and it only cost me a marriage proposal and a promise not to tell her higher ups, even though, the whole thing was probably recorded. I’ll do anything for you, my lovely readers!

Wireless Smart E-Bike

First on our list of best Electric Bikes on Amazon is this rather off-looking beast.

You may notice a lack of pedals on this one. That, and several others on this list are what I like to refer to as “Last mile Bikes.”

It is the kind of bike that you don’t have to worry about because it is small enough to take with you on the train, or bus and will allow you to get that last mile or at least to the other side of the campus relatively quickly without you having to work up a sweat.

It even includes cruise control for those times when you can’t be bothered to twist the throttle!

Ancheer Folding Electric Bicycle

This bike is very much like the one listed above only with fewer bells and whistles.

No side LEDs, no cruise control and only a 12-mile range….

It’s not fancy, but it’ll get you there!

Ancheer is a name that you may start seeing more and more of on the electric bike scene. They seem to be a very active supplier of entry-level e-bikes. It won’t be the last time you hear of them, even on this list!

XtremepowerUS 20 MPH Folding Electric Bicycle, Black

At $655.95, this inverted V-framed e-bike reports to have a 22-mile range and the standard top speed of 20mph, which, honestly would be terrifying on something with such tiny wheels.

You’ve probably seen one of these if you have been around any kind of resort area or entertainment district. Workers and tourist alike enjoy these features.

The portability, foldability and small storage space requirements, just 3.26 square feet, make the Xtremepower US ideal for crowded urban areas with limited parking options.

Juoos XiaoMi Mi Qicycle Electric

Moving up in the price range, we return to something that looks a little more like what we recognize as being an e-bike. It looks like the designers of this bike only had a ruler when designing this funky little foldable.

At 32lbs (light for an e-bike) the $699.99 price gets you quite a bit. This bike features three speeds with the latest Shimano components, a 250 watt motor, bluetooth connectivity, and a nifty trip computer that displays pretty much every stat you could want on your ride.

Cyclamatic CX2 Bicycle Electric Foldaway Bike with Lithium-Ion Battery

Practicality is the name of the game with the CX-2. It comes standard with a rear luggage rack and Lithium Ion battery that will take you between 25-31 miles, depending on how much you decide to pedal.

At 250watts this bike is a little slower than other offerings you will find on this list with only a 15mph top speed.

One interesting thing about this step through frame is that it is advertised as being perfect for smaller riders, “Suitable for users from 5 ft. 2 in. 14 years old and up.”

Would this bike be fun?

Maybe, but more than likely you would use something like this to pop down the road a few miles to run a few errands. Not a bad trade off for $599.99.

Vilano ION Electric Folding Bike

Much like the Cyclamatic above, this is a smaller electric bike sporting 20 inch wheels and a 250 watt motor with a 36v Samsung battery.

This one however has 7 speeds rather than three and boasts high quality Shimano components. This e-bike is a vehicle of practicality too, but it’s also a simply better looking specimen as well, compared to the Cyclamatic.

ANCHEER Folding Electric Mountain Bike

Remember when I started writing this list, I mentioned it wouldn’t be the last time you heard of this brand? Well Ancheer is back with what isn’t exactly a trail beast, but will do the job as well as pretty much any other entry level off road bike.

This electric bike is something that might interest a more adventurous, yet budget conscious e-bike shopper!

It’s foldable too, because why the hell not?

Featuring 26” alloy rim wheels, disc brakes and a 250w motor and 36 volt system, it isn’t exactly a trail beast, but if you are looking for that extra boost to get you over the next incline, it will certainly do the trick and for $699.99 with free assembly, it is a good way to get your foot in the door to e-assisted trail riding.

Ancheer Electric Mountain Bike

Ancheer is back with yet another electric bike offering and this time, it isn’t foldable and it is a hell of a lot better looking!

The design of this particular e-bike looks more rugged and capable than the foldable model and features full suspension, a 24-mile electric only cruising range with a limited top speed of 18mph, and the same 250 watt motor as their foldable model.

This e-bike will certainly keep the park rangers happy, knowing that you aren’t the one ripping the trail to shreds!

Addmotor MOTAN Fat Electric

Stepping up a bit in price and quality, we find ourselves looking at the $2099.99 Addmotor fat electric.

This 750watt bruiser has a top speed of 25 mph and is “Designed to Fit riders 5’11”-6’10, and It Can Carry Adults Weighing Close To 350 lbs, Making It An Ideal Option For Larger Riders.” Their words not mine!

But with 750 watts on a 48 volt system, the curvy frame will make you look sexy while you’re doing it too!

E-go Electric Bicycle

Last but not least on our journey through the best selling electric bikes on Amazon, at least according to the Amazon employee I spoke with, is the bike that I myself wouldn’t mind owning.

The rear-hubbed 1000 watt Ego Electric, features hydraulic disc brakes, full suspension, knobby tires, and a sturdy looking frame with a top speed of 28mph. It’s the e-bike you want to get you up that next hilltop in style!

While some of these aren’t electric bikes that I would choose, I think all of them have their merits and their markets. That’s the great thing about e-biking, you can always find your comfort zone if you look hard enough.
