KIET Group of Institutions starts five-day faculty development program on “IoT and Robotics”

A Five-days Faculty Development Program on “IoT and Robotics” has been started from 21st June 2021 to 25th June 2021 at KIET Group of Institutions, Delhi -NCR, Ghaziabad.

This Program is sponsored by AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy. This program will offer a broader knowledge of the Internet of Things and Robotics to its participants. Different technical experts of industries and professors of reputed institutions like IITs, NITs etc from all over India will take different sessions in this FDP. Over more than 200 participants from all over India will be part of this faculty development program. Most of the participants of this event belongs to Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Delhi NCR, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Jharkhand, Kerala, Uttarakhand, Assam, Bihar, Gujarat, Jammu Kashmir, Odisha, West Bengal.

This FDP will focus on applications of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Robotics for the development of technological advancement for human mankind.

The Inaugural program on 21st June’21 started with FDP Address of Hon’ble Director Dr. Amik K. Garg. He enlightened the audience about the need of industries for this new era of technology.

He told that IoT is a technology that can be adjusted to practice with any technology which can provide useful information on its own operation. IoT with the collaboration of Robotics can improve the performance improvement of any business or industry, even depending upon the environmental conditions which need to be remotely monitored and managed. On this occasion, Dr. Manoj Goel (Joint Director, KIET Group of Institutions) also graced the function by his presence. He also emphasized IoT with Robotics can do wonders for humans and discussed the need for technology to improve the lifestyle of every citizen of India.

The event was headed by Dr. Sanjay Kumar Sharma (HoD, ECE and Dean R & D) & Dr. Vibhav Sachan (Addl. HoD ECE and Associate Dean R & D). Dr. C. K. Dwivedi (Sr. Scientist NASI, Member of CST-UP) was the Chief Guest and Dr. UmeshGhaneker (Professor, NIT Kurukshetra) was Guest of Honour for the Inaugural Function. Dr. SundeepRohilla (Industrialist, Researcher, CEO MBS India), Dr. Abhishek Tomar (Professor, G. B. Pant University, Pant Nagar), Dr. Ritesh Vyas (Senior Researcher, Lancaster University, UK), Dr. Hemant Chauhan (Scientist IIT Delhi), Dr. Vandana Vyas (Professor, IGDTUW, New Delhi), Dr. Ranjith Nair (Professor, IIIT Pune) and many other scientist and industrialist are the keynote speakers for this FDP.

The FDP will have 14 talks of the Professors and Experts from reputed Universities as well as Industries. and 200 participants have registered for this FDP from 28 states of India.

Dr. Vibhav Kumar Sachan is the head coordinator of this FDP. The organizing committee members of this mega event are Dr. Ruchita Gautam, Dr. Parvin Kumar Kaushik, Dr.Shubham Shukla, Mr. Sachin Tyagi, Mr. Mohit Tyagi, and Ms. Vaishali Kikan.
