Training Management System
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Challenge
A low-cost and effective solution to manage events, seminars, and Training Sessions within an organization.
A cost-efficient and easy to use solution.
An automated solution to manage training, events, and seminars, thus saving money and manual power.
A solution that is completely responsive across devices like web, mobile, and tablets.
A workflow that could automate the repetitive task of organizing events, training sessions, and seminars in the organization.
Solution Delivered
A model-driven app was created where an organizer can create events like meetings and sessions for the attendees or trainees. Whenever any new event is created for the trainees, they would receive an invitation via email through Power Automate. The trainer’s attendance can be marked during the session or after the session. The trainees who attend the session then would receive a small survey via email to provide feedback about the training. Finally, the trainer can upload the content of the session which is stored in SharePoint to be used later by attendees. The solution was highly effective as Power Apps comes integrated with Power Automate to automate the repetitive task like sending an email. Flawless integration of the app with SharePoint was also advantageous as Power apps can be integrated smoothly with hundreds of connectors.
