CEDIA Awards 2017: Finalists Revealed

CEDIA has revealed the shortlisted finalists for the project categories in the 2017 Cedia Awards which celebrates the best media room, home cinema, integrated home and superyacht installations from across the EMEA Region.

“We have been overwhelmed with the standard of the submissions this year,” comments Matt Nimmons, managing director, CEDIA EMEA. “The standard increases every year and it’s great to see the amount of professionalism and technical excellence our members continue to offer their clients. I’d like to thank all of our technical judges this year for their support and dedication throughout the process so far and we look forward to announcing the winners in September.”

All shortlisted entries will be automatically placed into two additional sub-categories, Best Documentation and Best Dressed Rack. The finalists for all categories will go through a second round of judging, which will take place next month at the CEDIA HQ in St Neots.

CEDIA is still accepting entries in the Trade Supplier Categories, and deadline for submission is Wednesday 12th July 2017.

The winners will be announced at the black-tie awards ceremony on Friday 29th September at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter. This year’s Awards ceremony is sponsored by Bowers & Wilkins, IFSEC International, Meridian Audio, OneAV and The Cinema Designer.

For a limited time only, CEDIA is offering tickets to attend this year’s awards ceremony at a discounted early bird rate. Single member tickets are priced at £175 (+VAT) and a table of ten people costing £1,500 (+VAT). For non-members, a single ticket is £225 (+ VAT) and a table of ten people costing £2,000 (+ VAT).  This offer is available until Friday 30th June 2017.
