It’s a proud day for QSC. Joe Pham, president and CEO of QSC, has been named president-elect of the 2018 Avixa Board of Directors.

Joe, who has demonstrated industry thought-leadership by challenging the AV community to think differently about AV-over-IP video distribution, isn’t new to the 2018 AVIXA Board of Directors.

The presidency will reflect the QSC executive’s fourth year on the AVIXA Board of Directors where in 2017 he served as secretary-treasurer.

Joe will assume the 2018 AVIXA Board of Directors president role in the wake of AVIXA’s rebranding from InfoComm International. Having served on the board, Joe would have been privy to some of the decision-making leading up to the branding shift.

“Part of AVIXA’s rebranding is to reinvigorate the market and focus more on the user experience,” says Joe in a QSC press release.

“As this industry shifts into a world of convergence, AVIXA is looking to grow the AV industry globally and offer additional support and programs to its members. It really is an exciting time in our market and I’m thrilled to be part of this transformation.”
