Vivo V7 India Launch Set for Today, How to Watch Live Stream

The Vivo V7 is all set to launch in India on Monday, at an event in Gurugram. To recall, Vivo had confirmed the mobile phone India launch last week, just before launching it in Indonesia. In the interim, Flipkart has also begun teasing the launch of the Vivo V7 phone, indicating it might to exclusive to the online marketplace. The V7 India launch event kicks off at 1 pm IST, and stay tuned to ‘Gadgets 360’ for the live stream and live updates from the event. The headset appears to be almost identical to the Vivo V7 Plus, launched in India back in Sept, except for a smaller display, battery, and inbuilt storage capacity.

Vivo V7 price in Indonesia is IDR 3,799,000 which translates to roughly Rs. 18,300. We can expect the headset to be priced at approximately the same price in India, considering the better-specced Vivo V7 Plus is priced at Rs. 21,990 in the country. The Vivo V7 is already available to buy via a host of online retailers in Indonesia, including JD.com and Lazada. It has been launched in “Gold and Matte Black color variants”.

Vivo V7 specifications

The dual-SIM (Nano SIM) device runs Funtouch OS 3.2, based on Android 7.1 (Nougat). The phone sports a 5.7-inch HD+ (720 pixels by 1440 pixels) IPS display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a 1.8 GHz octa-core Snapdragon SoC (model unspecified), coupled with 4GB of RAM. Its likely Vivo has decided to use the same Snapdragon 450 SoC on the Vivo V7 as it used on the Vivo V7 Plus. We can expect a confirmation on Monday, at the India launch event.

Vivo V7 sports a 16 MP rear camera with flash and a f/2.0 aperture, apart from a 24 MP front camera with a soft ‘Moonlight Glow’ selfie light and a f/2.0 aperture. The phone bears 32GB of internal storage that’s expandable (up to 256GB via microSD card with a dedicated slot.

Connectivity options on the Vivo V7 include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and FM radio. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, proximity sensor, and virtual gyroscope. It sports a 3000mAh Non-removable Li-ion battery, measures 149.3 x 72.8 x 7.9mm, and weighs 139 grams.
