Daily Plans

MTN Daily plan is an hourly subscription will expires after 24 hours of activation. There are two bundles you can subscribe, they include;

• 50MB (N100) – To activate, dial *131*104# on your phone or text “104” to 131
• 150MB (N200) – Dial *131*113# or text “113” to 131

Weekly Plans

The weekly plan lasts for 7 days and all hours of the day. But the bonus data will be available for use from 1:00am – 7:00am on MTN Deal Zone. The bundles under here include;

• 150MB (N300) – To activate, dial *131*102# or text “102” to 131
• 500MB + 250MB (N500) – Dial *131*103# or text “103” to 131. Note that the additional 250MB is bonus and will be available for use from 1:00am – 7:00am.

Monthly Plans

MTN monthly plans lasts for 30 days (depending on the bundle and usage). Data is also available for use 24 hours everyday with the period. Bonuses are available between 1:00am – 7:00am daily. Below are the bundles here;

• 1GB + 500MB (N1,000) – To activate dial *131*106# or text “106” to 131. The additional 500MB is the bonus data.
  
• 1.5GB (N1,200) – Dial *131*130# or text “130” to 131
• 2.5GB + 1GB (N2,000) – Dial *131*110# Text “110” to 131. The additional 1GB is the bonus data.
• 5GB (N3,500) – Dial *131*107# or text “107” to 131
• 10GB (N5,000) – Dial *131*116# or text “116” to 131
• 22GB (N10,000) – To activate, dial *131*117# or text “117” to 131

MTN Night Plan

MTN Night plan is arguably the best night plan in Nigeria. The data bundle to receive for Night plan is 500MB and it’s available from 1:00am t0 4:00am for just N25. To activate, simply text “Night” to 131 in a message. You’ll receive a message that your subscription to Night plan has been activated.

NOTE: If you’re not sure of the data plan you want to activate, simply Dial *131# on your phone to see all the details. From there, you can follow the onscreen prompts to activate your choice data plan.

How To Check MTN Data Balance

Sometimes it seems you can’t browse again and you think maybe that your data bundle have finished. You can check this yourself. To check, Dial *131# and press 4 to select the option Check Balance. Or text “2” to 131. You will receive your main data balance. To check the bonus data, dial *559*63#.

For MTN Night plan, you will constantly receive alerts for the remaining volume. However, to check the balance yourself;

1. Go to the “Settings” section on your Android phone
2. Then, select “Data Usage” or “Data Monitor” from the list of options there
3. Choose MTN NG and select the 500MB Night plan or enter 500MB in the package box if prompted. Your remaining balance will be displayed
