Follow the steps below to recover your Facebook account if you have forgotten or can no longer access your email account or phone number.

Step 1: Visit Facebook Account Recovery page through this link. If possible, do this with a computer. Alternatively, go to Facebook account login page and click on the “Forgot account?” link at the top right corner of the page

Step 2: Enter the email address or phone number you can remember that you once setup for the account. If can’t remember any of these, then you need to report your account following the steps in the next subheading

Step 3: Next, select any of the options to receive your account reset code or link.

Step 4: Open your email address and follow the link sent to you by Facebook to recover your account. Or open the message that was sent to you by Facebook and enter the code in the space provided there

Step 5: If you can’t access any of the options listed on the Forgot account page, follow the “No longer have access to these?” link below the field to continue without email address or password

Step 6: Another will be open for you to follow and login to your account. Follow the onscreen instructions there or get help from a friend if you’ve previously setup these options.

Log into your other Facebook account or a friend’s own

Click on the three dotted lines at the top right side of the account’s profile

Then, select or click on “Report” from the options that appear next

Next, choose “Recover or close this account”, then select an option:

• If you select Recover this account, you’ll be logged out of your current account and taken through steps to help recover the account.
• If you select Close this account, the profile will be reviewed and deactivated after we’re able to verify that it’s your old account. That’s all!
