Maruti Suzuki India has silently introduced its Wagon R’s CNG version. The cng model is available in only one variant of the popular Indian small car. It has been made available in three colours – white,silver and gray.

The latest petrol engine Wagon R 2019 was unveiled last week in India. The new Wagon R 2019 was developed upon 5th generation Heartect platform which is already in use by Swift and Baleno by MSIL.

The new Wagon R 2019 design is quite different from old Wagon R. It has been introduced with volvo styled Tail lights. The rear black coloured window and tail gate touches the c-pillar. Overall, the new boxy look in the new version looks impressive. The car has also received bigger wheel options in its top variant.

In terms of interior features , the car for the first time has received a 7 inch touch screen (vibrant smartplay studio) infortainment system.It has been mounted over the dashboard. The android auto and apple carplay are supported with this system.

The new Wagon R 2019 is given 1.2L petrol engine.This engine generates 83PS of power and 113Nm of Torque. Its 1.0 L outputs 68PS of power and 90NM power.

The CNG version of new Wagon R 2019 model has got 2 variants – Lxi Cng and LXI CNG (O). It is to note that CNG enabled new Wagon R is only available in 1.0L engine. The mileage of CNG Wagon R is 33.5 km/kg.

The price of LXI CNG is 4.84 Lakh while LXi CNG (O) is 4.89 Lakhs. The base price of new Wagon R petrol is 4.19 Lakhs while CNG enabled version is Rs 65,000 is more costly.
