The facelift version of Toyota Innova Crysta MPV and Toyota Fortuner SUV was announced in India. According to the company, Innova Crysta will now cost between Rs 14.65 lakhs-Rs 22.1 lakhs. In a similar fashion, Toyota Fortuner will cost between Rs 18.65- Rs 23.6 lakhs.
The new Toyota Innova Crysta was launched in 2016 and has sold 1.81 lakh units since then. Toyota Fortuner launched in 2009 in India has sold 1.41 lakh units till now.The MPV has been the only car in its price segment.
In the recently updated Innova Crysta model features like emergency brake signal, rear fog lamps, front LED fog lamps, Anti-theft Alarm with Glass Break and Ultrasonic Sensor have been made standard i.e. present in all models.
Toyota Innova Crysta GX now comes with additional features like Steering-mounted audio controls, Speed- and impact-sensitive door lock/unlock, Power-folding wing mirrors with puddle lamps and Touchscreen infotainment system
As far as Toyota Fortuner is concerned, the car now comes with Passenger side powered seat, Anti-theft alarm with glass break and ultrasonic sensor, Electro-chromatic Inside Rear-View Mirror (IRVM), Rear Fog lamps and Emergency brake signal. An electric sunroof is still missing feature in the car.Toyota Fortuner competes with Ford Endeavour and Volkswagen Tiguan in its segment.
Both Innova and Fortuner have been given a third party insurance for up to 5 years in the offering.
