Someone once said that the Definition of a classic is a book that everyone talks about, but no one reads.

Within the next couple weeks I will begin reading the first few books of Euclid's Elements with a couple of my coworkers. I will begin posting my honest reactions and comments about what I read, hopefully with the aid of a couple guest contributors. If you are interested you can follow the action here, and even dust of a copy of the Elements and join in. Anyway, I expect the first few discussions regarding definitions and axioms to be lively....
