Cerezo Osaka confirmed the signing of Japanese midfielder Hotaru Yamaguchi from Hannover 96 on June 19.
Facial injury prevented the 25-year-old Midfielder from playing for Hannover but he has already joined his new (or should I say 'old?') team-mates and played 90 minutes in a practice match on Monday. So we don't need to worry his injury. Hotaru will be available for the match against Kumamoto on July 3.
He gave us a comment on the official website:
"The six months was rather short but I'd been away from Cerezo and I felt so strongly that Cerezo was my home. That's the biggest reason why I'm back here again."
"So many people have supported and helped me. I'd like to stay here as long as I can. I want to play like starting again from the beginning so that everybody can justify this move. "
