Willian returned to the fray at Arsenal in less than optimal shape during their 2-1 loss against Hibernian.

Mikel Arteta’s side suffered a shock defeat at the hands of the Scottish Premiership side as young goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo made a massive blunder to put his behind in the first half. Daniel MacKay scored a second for Hibs before Emile Smith Rowe’s consolation goal 10 minutes from time.

It was the first pre-season friendly of the season for the Gunners and there is a good chance that none of the players were in their prime physical structure.

But the Brazilian winger was visibly out of shape as less-than-impressive screenshots of his potbelly did the rounds after the game. The sheer state of the 32-year-old brought the fans to tears.

As Willian displayed the kind of physical standards one does not associate with Premier League players these days, Gary Cahill showed how it’s done.
