Throughout history even the strongest of people have succumbed to what Leigh Griffiths is going through right now – depression and degrading mental health.



The likes of Tyson Fury and George Foreman, two of the toughest athletes in the most brutal of sports, have all had their bouts with their inner demons and so it seems wise for Griffiths to  seek professional help as early as possible.

Support is vital in his fight against this invincible enemy and so it is wonderful to see the likes of Neil Lennon, another man who has seen his fair share of problems, come out and give public backing to the striker.

The Celtic supporters are also doing their part, putting up banners and taking to social media to spread love for one of their most beloved stars whenever they get the chance.

After a banner in support of the 28-year-old was seen at Celtic Park two days back, another fan was spotted with a message of love for the striker at the ongoing PDC World Darts Championship.

Gestures like these make it quite clear that the fans are fully dedicated to helping out the man who has given so much to the club and it is indeed heartwarming to see the supporters show their love for Griffiths on whatever platform they get.
