After huffing and puffing their way through the group stages, the one thing fans and players alike will want more than anything now will be to hear the Champions League anthem played out loud at their brand new Stadium come February.

The club had hoped to unveil the mega stadium earlier this year but hit a few snags along the way which has pushed its opening by a few months.

While there is still no official word on exactly when the stadium will be ready for a match, some lucky season ticket holders were invited in for a fan familiarization event at the ground today.

The move seems to be the latest hint from the club’s side that the new White Hart Lane is on the verge of completion and the development has understandably got the fans all excited.

Those who already got a taste of things inside the huge stadium were quick to release photos of certain parts of the ground and boy do the photos look stunning.

While also featuring world class amenities and an innovative retractable pitch, it’s the view of the ground from the stands that has seemed to impress supporters the most and Twitter was flooded with elated fans expressing their delight at the work done on the stadium.

All things considered, it seems pretty possible that the club will get the job done by February and Spurs fans will surely be looking forward to create a cracking atmosphere for whichever European team they host next in the Champions League’s knockout stages.
